Kati grew up an athlete and dancer, but found yoga through a PE class in college while attaining her bachelors degree in psychology. What was an elective turned out to be the first step in a lifelong journey. Soon after practicing yoga there was a noticeable difference in her psyche that sparked an inquiry to understand an aspect of mind that wasn’t spoken of in her textbooks or classes.
Soon after finishing school she traveled to NYC to deepen her own yoga practice through completing her teacher training at Joschi Yoga Institute. Upon arriving back to the south Kati had recently moved to the NWA region and searched for a yoga studio that equitable for her journey; Millennium Life Center fits perfectly.
Kati loves an intense workout of Ashtanga, but equally desires the restorative and meditative aspect of Hatha. Each day is different; the key is balance.
